Here is something I made. It's what used to be a ringtone I posted recently after it was rebalanced, slowed down, and mixerboard things done to it. I left the fast tempo version of it playing and went afk or fell asleep or something, I can't remember which,  and when I heard it next it was playing at a slower playback speed in the media player, so I turned the tempo down to 75. It now sounds different and is 1 minute long before it repeats a second time.

I think the link works, it's set to allow playing of and downloading the mp3.

I'll keep working on it, I'll add another kickdrums soon I think, maybe make it punchy and go chirpy sometimes with the Edit Events window so the knobs turn as it goes.

Leonid Utesov (Случайный вальс is so nice)

Oleg Anofriyev

As well as a bit of old english songs. Annete Hanshaw's "Who's That Knockin' on My Door?" is nice and funny. :) Character has an afwul lot of delivery men to expect.

Realized that I don't know a single song that was translated from russian to english, from isolationist USSR or no, while songs that were translated the other way are dime a dozen. Do (plural) you know any? I'd like to see and compare some.

EDIT: At least I learnt what the thing I previously asked about is even called - a counterpoint. And of course wikipedia doesn't have a single voiced example.  ::)
