I'm finding the time between the accepted petition for a guild hall, and them getting fed up and removing the request to be a little short.  So I've failed a couple guild hall requests as I was mining/smoothing/decorating a hall for them.   Do you know if a guild will request a hall later on again, or is it a one-shot deal  ?   I'd hate to miss out just cause I wanted them to have good first impressions.
