We need some gameplay FAQs

Preferably on the boards stickied at the top with a short explanation and a relevant link directing to the wiki for more in-depth information.  It does no good to have to answer the same question over and over again.  The only foreseeable problem might have to deal with the ever updating nature of this game's development.

There's a link to the FAQ and the wiki at the top of the forums. What more do you want?

At first glance, the FAQ at the top looks more like a development FAQ rather than a gameplay one, though there is a link to the wiki down towards the bottom of the page.  And yes, there is a link to the wiki up there as well, but sometimes it can be difficult to find the answer to a question you're asking.  I've noticed that recently, with the influx of new players, a lot of the same questions seem to be popping up.  I was just trying to think of a passive way to answer the questions without clogging up the forum with redundant posts.

Go to the Dwarf Fortress wiki and read "Your First Fortress" or "Indecisive's Illustrated Tutorial" or "Frequently Asked Questions" or "Important Advice". If your question is not answered, then put it there and ask for it to be answered. That's what a wiki is all about.

What abut you post a "FAQ (this forum does not support stickies, please bump)" topic on gameplay questions?
No need for Toady to get involved, you seem to know what questions should bee there anyways.

Y'know, that's a good point.  I'll go do that and maybe we can start compiling some of the...er...more frequently asked questions there.

What about putting in bold and very large font beside the wiki link at the top have:

THIS FORUM DOES NOT SUPPORT STICKIES. CHECK THE WIKI.

Or something like that.
