-snip-

You are completely missing the point here dude, Rose is saying the exact opposite. Labels are for you to use for yourself, not for others to throw at you.

I'm a woman, no matter what my genitals, because I am. I'm a gamer, because I love gaming and call myself as such. Bookworm, nerd, girl, fem, etc.

Is it possible to nominate a game that was done by 1 person on youtube to the hall of legends? Because if so, I'd like to nominate Kruggsmash's brilliantly made and storied tale of Ushangvagush, Monster Killer.  Vast amounts of story, art, a better relationship with goblins than elves, and badass dwarves throughout the history of the place, and a slow decent into madness as the tolls of their work break the spirits of the fortress through endless forgotten beasts, wars, and a tantrum spiral that never truly seemed to end until the final installment. It is 26 episodes, each a half hour, of absolute gold.

The best part? It was meant to be a small 4-5 episode affair that grew to this. Ushangvagush

EDIT: Oh, SteelClutches was being talked about. XD

As out of context as possible. I got blown up by a vindictive and tired looking Scientist because I didn't leave the trail to get to church in time, while being chased by a Hunter and a Lead Guitarist, while losing my weapon and not being able to find another one for myself, the Serial Killer wearing a Crown, EOD Boots, a Steel Shield, a Pope's Cassock, and a Sniper's scope.

My two favorite runs I won win were very enjoyable for different reasons. The first is a massive deck that just tried to never run out of energy. Keep playing cards and never stop until its dead or you run out of card draw. 46 cards of pure doom.

The other was a 27 card deck with everything upgraded. I literally got to the last campfire and couldn't upgrade anything, just went in and outlasted you with a superior deck.

The Ironclad was my favorite character, and the Silent my most consistant. Now The Defect is my favorite, the Ironclad my go to for a relaxing win, and the Silent to switch things up... and go for the shiv achievement.

Buffer is the best power against the Awakened One. "Oh, 32x3? TOO BAD! I have 5 stacks of Buffer! YOU ARE DOOMED!"

Its nice to see the complexity and learning curve grows with the subsequent characters. Silent is much more difficult to learn than the IronClad, and the Defect is the same in regards to both.

Probably way too late but I didn't get any real bugs or anything with the argonians when I loaded them so it's probably fine.  I could not select their skincolor properly for some reason, but I couldn't do that with any of the modded races, so that's either a bug with that custom race foundation mod bug or a prepare carefully bug.

That colony I was talking about however was very short lived.  A solar flare took out all the cooling systems in the middle of summer. The avali both died of heatstroke, leaving me just with the nudist argonian and an orassian, one of which was incapable of combat, and the other was merely terrible at it. A raid that I'm assuming was still using the numbers from when I had 4 colonists, wiped them out after.

I have never seen a tornado in the game yet, though I have seen a biome that claims tornados are common there in a mod.  Perhaps I should make that my next embark.

If you disabled Solar Flares, I could see this being a really neat challenge build. Having 3 races that deal with middling temps and the 2 extremes would be the ultimate in base design, including how to handle defence and what happens if one side of the population is in dire straits and needs to be patched up.

I could see having 4 of each to start off the game with a lot of initial steel to make the initial base, and then see what happens from there.

A lot of placeholder artwork is in now, as well as some actual art.

Also, there is likely a lot of balance still to be done because this seems a bit broken imo.

Doing an Ironclad Berserker Build... and then grabbed Pandora's Box... I now have a Debuff Deck with literally no block beyond the Self-Forming Clay Relic. This will be interesting.

My notes to self after finally winning a game after 8 losses ish.

WALL AROUND YOUR CC IF YOU THINK THE FIGHT IS GONNA GET THERE! The extra barrier lets armies do mop up if things get to close. If you wanna be fancy, surround a few executioners with walls too.

Get some walls around you tesla's before the final wave hits. So many defences can get knocked out just from the ai hitting those fairly fragile structures. a few walls around them will let your static defences keep up the pressure a little longer.

The second a choke gets to its last wall, delete EVERYTHING behind it to the next choke or the next viable choke. it is fully possible to make more walls and ballistas while the horde hits.

Around day 50 to 65 you'll generally own most of the map. At that point, expand defences to just be jutting wall sections with static defences and towers. You can fill in the taken areas with houses, but just remember to delete them. it can be a pain.

Save gold by DELETING BUILDINGS THE HORDE HAS PASSED! You can actually delete those infested buildings once the enemy is gone. This will save you resources and keep your army from deserting when you finally hit that demolish all button for houses.

And finally, if you want lots of extra gold throughout the game, don't forget to keep building lumber mills! Before day 75 ish, assuming each one is atleast 10 wood and you have all markets up, thats 9 gold every 8 hour tick. 27 per day, so 12 days to pay for itself while still providing you with wood you will be using for stakes and walls. EDIT: Just remembered you sell in 5 not 10. So 6 days to pay back in full, meaning before day 85 is good.

That is all accept to mention one thing.  DON'T PURPOSELY DESTROY A RESEARCH BUILDING!!! You will lose all research from it and have to rebuild and re-research  it all. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
