Too all ships of the Unity fleet, report on duty, the Virals are launching a massive attack on our colonies...

Vigrior is a 2D tactical fleet maneuvering game, you control very few units with different abilities,
it's all about how to position them and use there abilities to defeat a much larger force.
No resources collection, no meat grinder and no "blob", only pure tactical experience.

It features nice an simple graphics, A campaign playable in solo and co-op
and a huge compatibility. (Windows, Mac, Linux and maybe iOS, Android and PS3  :o)
They also plan to make the game moddable if they get enough founding.

This is the first game of Mercenary Games, and they need some bacon to finish it.
So visit there huge kickstarter page, and help to hold back the invasion of the mankind.
They also made a livestream available there : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3Sdb2XoCjQ.

EDIT : Now with a prototype available on Desura for backers.

This looks pretty sweet.
I hate to comment on a game just because of the looks, but then i´d also hate to see this thread buried. :/
Sadly i do not have the time to watch the whole 45 min vid, but the few mins i skipped into were pretty nice. (And the voices from the off were pretty funny too)
Also fleet formations, yay!

Yeah, a bit flattered actually.  Battleships Forever was an unsung classic.

They are changing the name, from "Vigrior" to "FleetCOMM : operation Vigrior" since nobody is able to pronounce Vigrior.
More than 50% funded.

Hi all !

There's a second Kickstarter for FleetComm : Operation Vigrior here : http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mercenary-games/fleetcomm-operation-vigrior-reloaded.

There's also a new demo which is much more polished than the previous one.
