Pretty much nothing is a threat when you roll crits.

I'm having some problems finding challenges as well...

I just started playing adventure mode after ignoring it my entire time playing dwarf mode. I've already generated a world with 250 caves, and stopped it at year 70, but all the quests I've been given so far have just been Minotaurs or Giants, which have gotten to be really easy. My char isn't that powerful (Any tips on finding undead?):

Professional Wrestler 1117/1400
Talented Swordsmen 664/1100
Talented Shield User 407/1100
Adept Armor User 859/1200
Swimmer 192/700
Adept Thrower 280/1200 (A great source of hilarity, injuring a giant's kindey's and stomach with a large roach bad enough to make it nauseous is awesome)
Dabbling Ambusher 375/500

I saw someone mention finding civ leaders. For humans, do I just go to the tavern in a capital city, or will they be somewhere else?

During the daytime they'll be at the tavern, yes. At night they go to the houses.

Well, if you're tired of fighting minotaurs, you could go look for a goblin civ leader.

The true challenge is to assault a elven forest retreat unaided and eliminate every single bow elf in the world.

Halfway done it, killed 5 elven retreats, lost 1 eye to an arrow but nothing else, all with my legendary hammerman and my =Steel maul=

Or to play as an elf.  That's even harder.

  • Get as many meatshields companions as possible
  • Enter dwarven city next to chasm
  • Try to eradicate the infestation of GCS
  • ???
  • The dwarfs are dead, your companions are dead, and you're probably dead too
GCS are no challenge. This one time, I charged at one GCS, dodging and dodgin as I ran through the cave, until I reached her and instantly severed her head, sending her flying out of view. I stepped around the corner to find another GCS who was all like "What the hell is going on" and cut her in half with one strike, causing her to go flying into another GCS who promptly fell unconscious. And I did all of this with one arm versus their eight. GCS and a threat do not belong in the same sentence!

Unless they manage to bite you, then you're screwed. Lol paralysis.

GCS are kind of a coin-toss.  You'll either wipe the floor with them, or you'll get eviscerated in two or three turns.

Random number god is random. It helps that they have loads of legs to hit, making a fatal shot iffy.

They'll have wiped out literally every other civ in the world by the time you stop history.

That makes it more Fun.
