Arrow Traps Question

I was thinking of using weapon traps when a question arose. When arrows/bolts are put into a weapon trap and are activated by an enemy do they launch out and fly at the enemy or do they just pop out and still be attached to the trap. Hope you understand what I am trying to ask and thanks for any help in advance.

If your asking about crossbows in traps then yes, you will need to refill the trap once in a while.

Okay so putting a crossbow and a few bolts in a trap will launch bolts?

Yeah, but unless you want it 'cuz it's cool, just go for serrated discs. Three on a tile, that's 9 attacks with every trigger, with the capacity to sever limbs.

Neither do lash traps, but good luck getting enough whips.
