Trade Depot interface and Ctrl+F10
« on: December 30, 2007, 07:34:00 pm »

In the new trade depot interface, the "controls" for 4 different things all appear to be ctrl+F10.  At least, that's the text that appears next to each of the options.  However, pressing that key combination doesn't do anything except change the way items are sorted.  It looks like there's other options there that I could toggle or play around with, but I don't know what keys control them, since "ctrl+F10" appears next to each.

I can provide a screenshot if necessary.

Are you using the new data/init/interface.txt file?  If you are using an old interface.txt, you need to include the new keys.  They should be in the file changes txt.

Ahh, that would probably explain it.  Curse blindly copying things!

I feel your pain. I stoped doing that at around version d when I could not even start the game for a reason unknown...

Of course, resintalling a version I didn't even begin to work with wasn't hard to do... But since then I go down and change everything in the init file by hand.  :)

This is more of a "Trade Depot interface minus Ctrl+F10" but here is my question: Is it a bug that when I go to the trade depot screen to tell dwarves to start hauling stuff, there is no category for my mugs/intruments/toys/crafts? The only way to find them is to select All and find all the "Finished Goods Bin"s

I know crafts and toys categories exist since I just used them.
