Grates?
« on: June 12, 2010, 05:13:41 pm »

Basically, I built a wooden vertical grate, it wasn't hooked up to anything, but my dorfs literally walked straight through it... Does it only stop vermin or what?

I have never seen dwarves walking through vertical grate...

1. Are you sure it is vertical grate not a floor grate?
2. Are you sure it is actually constructed, not only designated?
3. Did the dwarf just walk through it or was it pushed by water, also was the dwarf in combat?

My bet is that it is not yet constructed.

The Fortress has been struck down.

I'm sure it was vertical and constructed, etc... It was this morning so I don't really remember what happened tbh. I will give a more accurate description if it happens again.
