I'm totally bored, so I'm going to do this.

Warlock: Master of the Arcane!

Spoiler: Old post (click to show/hide)

The game is now underway, so I will be using this space for fan art of the Half-Elf relatives, because why not?

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

For character customization, have the most epic beard possible.

And with that, the chain of distractions preventing me from going to bed is over.

Ok, we have 1 vote for Dragon, 1 vote for an epic beard.

Anyone want to make a suggestion that will actually affect gameplay?

Or maybe, let me actually start the game?

On second thought, I'm going to bed, too, so if you guys want to vote on difficulty/world settings/whatever is in the game set up, go ahead.

Just wait for some people who know what they're doing to come along. They always do.

That's not fun at all. Incompetence and emergent learning are the best thing when it comes to LP.

...

Two headed dragon! It will represent the split personality of suggestions to come out of here well.

PTW. If going with the dragon, I would suggest we focus all perks/efforts on gold and magic. That magical treasure hoard isn't going to build itself.

I second this idea. Magic for the Magic Dragon, Gold for the Gold throne and all of that junk.

Two headed dragon +1

Farmer (3), treasury (1), Clean the Lands (2), Create Artifact (3), anything else we can afford (maybe lesser heal?)

Huh.  I beta'd this game.  I don't think I played since they 'released.'  Its allegedly changed a lot since then, though.

Well, Undead means we make lots and lots of mana because our undead eat it, but farmer's kind of wasted on them. Humans make a good amount of gold and can still do mana pretty well, plus they benefit from not being undead. Although undead get vampires, which are pretty cool. I haven't played around with elves, but it looks like they kind of like money and eat food?

I'm gonna vote Elves because I have no idea what they do as well as more portals for more epic plane-jumping treasure hunting and monster slaying adventures! Why be a dragon in command of the world, when you can be a dragon in command of ALL the worlds? Also, I like Summon Imps because I never have defenders where I need them and this way we can steal servants of hell to act as meat shields!

Edit: OH ALSO! I vote Elven Relatives, because then we get an Elven Village which lets us build a casino! Wheee extorting money from our populace with games of "chance"!

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.
