Sleep Paralysis
« on: October 15, 2015, 05:51:10 pm »

During the day...
You study for the end of year tests that to take each week. After that, it's off to your job at Keyboard Co. to do whatever pointless task they've given you. If you fail college or don't scrape together enough money by the end of the year, you're stuck home during summer vacation while your friends get to backpack across Europe without you. Try not to do that.

During the night...
You lay in your bed, staring at the ceiling. Sometimes you can't fall asleep. Other nights, you just don't want to. This is because you suffer from one of the most bizarre forms of sleep. While you're fellow classmates dream with their eyes closed, your dreams happen before your eyes, while you are paralyzed and helpless. Sometimes they are ordinary, annoying but harmless. The problem is, sometimes they aren't. Every night is a thing to prepare for when you have...

You all wake up in your dorm room (which you happen to share), quickly pushing the memories of last night from your minds, as always. Over the few months you've been roommates, you've gotten to know each other. Today is a turning point in all of your lives: It is the Sunday before your jobs begin. As a celebration of the moment, you all decided to sleep in late. Now, all awoken, each of you must decide what to do during the day.
----------------
This is the day phase. depending on the day of the week, different things will happen. Monday through Friday, you will get to chose whether to study or not, and then whether to work or not. After that, you will have 3 things that you can do, each of these taking approximately 2 hours. If you choose to skip studying, you will get 1 extra action, and skipping work will also get you an extra action. These actions can be almost anything, and should probably focus on helping you battle the ill effects that you suffer. Think outside the box here. On Saturday, you will be given one of the end of year tests, and will also preform a job evaluation. These cannot be skipped. Because of the time they take, you will only have 1 action to spend afterwards. On Sundays, you have neither work nor studying, so you have a full 5 actions to spend as you please (but not today, you slept in).

There is a movie starting at 7:30 PM. All others after that run past the time you are supposed to be in bed. Like the others, you adhere to your self-imposed sleeping schedule. You get little sleep as is.
These days, you hardly touch the pile of junk collecting dust in the corner of the room. You keep it from swallowing your important objects (such as your phone and laptop), but you don't know what else you own that it could have, and if it might have gained in importance since the last time you threw it away. You could try to clean it up, but it might take an hour or two.

 You have 3 actions remaining.

try to remember our current job. If we don't have one, check the paper for job listings.
Also, how much money is needed?
