Yeah, Uzol appears as a mountain goat so I have launched a project to capture numerous ones and litter the temple with them, but if I had a bunch of green stone and worshipped a toad-god it would be time to build a frog-shaped temple with an aqueduct running either down or up the throat out of it.

Just a thought.

So on the evidence of the first child born in Fireblossoms, yes, they do inherit their parents' religious preference.  On the evidence of the second, born to our High Priest by an infidel mother, they inherit their mother's.  Further data will arrive eventually.

I'm currently playing a Goblin fortress, and deep in the underearth, I've constructed a temple to the goblins' demon god of Fire, Death and Torture, Uslot. Being a temple to a demon god, it's constructed around some stuff that may be considered spoilers, so I'll link the images.

The temple in full operation (Yes the # in the middle is what it looks like): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v245/Moribundus_VII/demonpittemplemiasma.png

The room is a combination jail/graveyard/statue garden, so prisoners and dead goblins are left there as tributes, and goblins will spend their free time worshipping there, as it's the only statue garden in the fortress. There's also an emergency switch in case the worst happens, so it has two configurations:

Closed http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v245/Moribundus_VII/demontempleclosed.png
