Bullets must run their course!

And the bullets did run their course, causing both men to bleed profusely as they both were good shots!

Both shot again, but this time, only one bullet struck true.

Jack the Mule froze, dropped his gun, made a pained expression, and fell onto his back.

It was Aleister Quaide who would walk away to lick his wounds...

"Hmmph. . ." He barely managed to rasp. Staunching the vleeding the stained his clothes so. "S'pose we couldn't make a deal after all." Aleister hobbled himself out from the back alley before commotion began to swell at the sound of the gunfire. He didn't want to be around if that newbie sherriff and their ilk came traipsing over. And like that, Mister Quade disappeared again, another stranger extinguished in his town.

The sturdy men took the exchange of bullets in the side. Literally, their pierced bodies bleeding into the fine shirts they wore.

Then the triggers were pulled anew...

And the sturdiest (and fastest) of the two was Flint Westland, his bullet causing a beautiful spray of blood behind Skorupi, who's body fell to the ground.

The fire and the pain consuming his side, he went home to rest with a nurse at the bedside.

For days Dylan waited patiently for someone to pick him only for him to be ignored over and over again as many men before him got their chance, each time he got ignored Dylan's anger only grew finally after the last match Dylan has had it and is going to take matters into his own hands.

"Hey Aleister Quade you bastard! not once did you consider picking me and that pisses me off you hear? What I want to know is why is it cause im young? Is it cause Im not a immigrant like so many others you driven away or killed damning this town in the process? Well im going to prove you wrong whatever it is you old son of a bitch cause In the end skill is all that matters!"

Piercing the heart of the young Dylan, it sent his soul to the Lord and his body to the ground.

Aleister Quade was once victorious, after hardest duel the youngster could've given him...

The mustachioed Quade grimaced, not for the wanton death he and his ilk had caused this once good place. But for the stinging wound, yet another shot through his shoulder. Seemed that was just the way it was gonna be, unable to escape a duel without a scar of his own. Maybe that was God's way of reminding the old bastard all the souls he sent up to heaven, or maybe hell. "Don't pick battles you can't win kid." He spat through clenched teeth, unceremoniously collecting the boy's cash and dashing off, to recover before the ultimate duel.

When at last the time had come, Mister Quade found himself standing on that sand whipping main road cutting straight through the land. All manner of folk gathered from their homes and saloons, knowing what was to come, prayin' it wasn't that gentleman what secured the keys to the city.

With a knobby hand ready to unsheathe a new shiny, silver engraved handle of his revolver, Aleister Quade spoke resoundingly, "I'm calling you out Sheriff Westland. This town ain't big enough for the both of us. . ."
