nice to meet you and group games are a trap for new players, instead of just waiting for one person you have to wait for everybody in the game to make a turn.

Astute observation. I registered more than a week ago and got into 2 big melees that same day. Those melees still aren't finished.

I make too many mistakes. Mistargeting, mistiming, I'm starting to dislike the game.

Also: usually halfway a finger of death or a disease I forget that I was casting it and randomly start casting something else. *sigh*

Repeated paralysis only means both players have to play with one hand.

Well, yeah... before casting Disease, check whether the target is currently revving up Cure Heavy Wounds... I'm appearing to be outguessed, slowly.

This appears to be a game that's very hard to master...

Load up an anti-spell on your off-hand while casting disease or finger of death. Or make yourself invisible so they can't see the end of the sequence. They might still guess what you're going to do, but you'll be able to change without them having a say about it. Also, for shorter tricks, Haste might help you a lot.

Nah, when I charged on quinnr he first thought I was gonna summon an ogre.

My style at the moment seems to rely on clapping. End a spell with it, and you can go Magic Mirror, Dispel Magic or perhaps Fire/Ice Elemental on them. Stuff like that.
