We should be able to cremate the dead. And use their ash to make pearlash and potash.
From the dead springs life! And windows!

We can toss the dead into magma, and use the magma to power our glass furnaces.

I would love to have the ability to cremate someone and make a gem out of them in game. Even better if their spirit were tied to it. Great for having a soldier use the spirit of his dead wife in battle. XD But  until then, magma pools should work well enough.

You better hope that the soldier's weapon won't break with the gem in it... The spirit could get bad thoughts.

With the whole ghost system, that could actually be pretty cool.  Maybe you could make a chain with a spouse's bone on it, and their spirit would aid their living spouse?

You could cremate them, throw the corpse into magma & make a slab thing for them. Simples :)
