Arrow in leg.

So I have an arrow stuck in my leg. How do I remove it?

Hit "I" (note the capital), hit the letter corresponding to the arrow.  You'll bleed a bit, but it'll end up in your hand so you can throw it or stab someone with it.

If you yank an arrow out of your body in real life, you'll worsen the wound, probably tear some muscle tissue and a few veins, and, if you don't clean it, get an infection and possibly gangrene.

That's why they push them right through the other side. Minimises damage.
