Would wearing goblinbone armour cause horror in goblins?

Pretty much what the title says, could you scare away a goblin siege by outfitting your soldiers in goblin bone.

No. Material is not recognized. That's a pretty good idea though.

No. Material is not recognized. That's a pretty good idea though.
Well, ideally the material and design would increase the discipline roll required to not flip like a nancy and run.

Like wearing a masterwork dragon bone helm should make a guy super brave.

FTFY; this is the way it would probably go anyways, in reality and in how reactions would play out- Wearing something awe-inspiring doesn't actually make you that much more badass, but the other guy doesn't know that. You could have killed that dragon- and they would assume so. For all they know, it could be a legendary woodcarver behind that mask, posing as a great hero- and they'd run just the same, because why should they take the chance and die horribly?

Also, one does not usually think reasonably in the heat of battle; if a warrior wearing the carcass of a terrifying behemoth charges at you, you will most likely run.

It would be a cool feature since goblins would be more terrifying, especially as goblins leaders almost always have jewelry from sentients.

How it works is that if the body part item is labeled as "NAME's item" then it will cause horror, being associated with an actual dead unit, whereas "RACE item" is a generic item.

"goblin meat [30]" = no horror

"Smuxzu Gorbobash's skull" = horror

I don't think so. forgotten beasts have names, but once we make stuff from their remains, it doesn't say (forgotten beast's name) leather cloak, it just says forgotten beast leather cloak.

Somebody make a mod to use bodyparts as siege ammo.  I would consider that a win

Well... that's problematic since last I checked, we had problems using bodyparts in reactions. And what siege engines use for ammo is hardcoded for catapults (Boulders) and wouldn't be productive for Ballistae- still need to make a reaction to make a bolt.
If it was fixed, though, you could use this to make catapult ammo from body parts and stuff:

to the dwarf entity file. Let me know if it works!



P.S. it probably won't be very effective anyways, as it will take the 'major' part of the corpse, which will probably return bone or meat, neither of which is particularly dense for catapult boulders. Alternatively, you could switch out the Product line for
