"No, my sister isn't seeing anyone. I'd definitely know if she was, and whoever she dated would have to meet my standards before I let them go out with my sister."

"Ehhh? What would those standards be out of curiosity? I mean, I'll probably agree with them. Can't have the wrong kind of person dating my- I mean, Misaki."

"They'd need to be responsible, and able to rein her in so she doesn't get herself hurt. Plus they'd need to have good grades, and not be too much older or younger than her, with a promising career ahead of them. Ideally they'd come with a good family, and would only ever look at her with pure eyes. Also they'd need to be strong enough that she couldn't fold them in half before doing something to get herself in trouble despite what they said. Also they would need to submit a resume to me with at least four references in good standing."

"Huh. So it's just me then."
"Oh yeah, you did do all those dance exhibitions with Baron, didn't you? You're a natural at this already, huh?"
"I wouldn't call myself that. After all, it's been a while since I did any real performances, and I never sang as part of Baron, either."

Misaki forces herself to stop pacing and take a seat - no use wearing out her legs before they even started.

"Still, even if you didn't sing before you've got a knack for it, right? I remember one of the team saying something about Mirage users being naturals at this stuff. Figure that's why they can get away with putting us on a stage so soon." Misaki still felt like she was reeling from how fast this had all happened...

Then she sneezes, for no particular reason. Wonder what Nana is up to? She must be really busy...
