I guess Magma could be lovers with someone still, but I didn't even consider that because that would mean one player would be doubledipped between two lovers and I haven't gotten that impression whatsoever. It would also be quite a scandalous tryst.

I successfully targeted an ability someone has told me about and changed it.  This time I got a copy of it, that can happen but low odds.  I leave it up to my target to discuss or not, the copy looks likely townie and useful.

Yes we're lovers. I had them change my res since it was 1-shot and spent. It's now an auto that will give people modifiers at the start of Even numbers days. My res would have given Sal a modifier, but they don't have a role so it only res'd them.

This is part of why my head is screaming you're anti-town in some way, since you're not in a lover pair Magma as far as I can tell. You've also shown a kill. You are unlikely to be mafia though (voting off your own team members, Agentt had their ability usurped when they targeted you) unless you're a complete cold-hearted bastard so I'm having a hard time judging this.

Hmm, I think my actions are confirmed to be accounted-for on the night of the loverizing. I killed toastercultist and assessed TricMagic - I don't think he'd claimed the number of hats he had prior to me assessing him. I believe I am objectively cleared from being anti-town.

So, I was going to talk about this when I woke up the other day but SOMEBODY had hammered the wrong person for no good reason.

I did the loverizing, having stolen Krr1ss' threads of fate and run around tying people together with it. It didn't work out the way I planned. I didn't ask for the extra anti-town-allying effect.

That means there is no outstanding mafia action on n3 and nobody is cleared, especially not someone who admits to doing a kill that day. Like I said to begin with.

You definitely should have just claimed this at the beginning of yesterday instead of letting us try to solve under a false assumption.

All I can say is I'd never inflict a private chat with me on Toony, he's been quite clear.

I do think he's extremely likely to be town.  The Sal res, the disabled ability as mech proof he inspects town, the other two maf one of who could have used an ability to inspect as town-ally, maf if not, the other maf flip only maf.  I don't think they have a godfather because of this mally inspect.  And I don't think Toons would have known to claim disabled on his ability with that inspect from the mally.

The copy I got looks very town useful.  If we make it to D7 we have little cops running around, I'll leave what kind of cops to the people who actually get randomly selected by the ability.

Yes, I'm lovers with Jim Groovester. We decided together not to counterclaim Salvatore Monday, and he suggested that silly message he sent you last night (but I was totally down for it because it was funny).

Let me start by saying that I have no lover, and Jim and Magma are lovers.

What did you expect/predict would happen from the lovers effect?

My primary goal was to remove Jim and Magma at once since I estimated at least a 50% chance that at least one of them was mafia. In case that wasn't right, I also paired people up accordingly as I believed they would be able to communicate effectively in private channels - I had originally asked to listen in on those channels but didn't roll high enough - so they could solve each other. You and ToonyMan are already proving my theory there.

I decided not to challenge Monday's claim even though I knew it was a brazen lie because I wanted to see how it would play out even though I didn't immediately understand his angle.

Since I'm a Magma Mater ally now having the misdirection was probably going to prove useful.

I'm okay with it. I'm not really happy about the lovers thing but I trust Sal a lot here and their reasoning makes sense. I was theorizing with Imp if the love maker decided the pairs themselves because it felt random to me. I also knew Jim didn't decide the pairs because they would 100% put me with them.
