Holy Imp blessed child of God I do not know if your intentions are true. Who is the wicked one here? It has to be one scum left, who is it? Soon we will both perish the remaining town must know who your top scum pick is, please tell us who and why.

I am no sinner and I seek town victory. If Holy Imp is within hammer range I will speak the sacred marytr words that will end my life and Imp's.

Sorry Imp I truly hope and wish this is a mistake.

Offering the reasonable alternate.  I hope it isn't within Magma/Jim.  If it is, the survivors handle it.

NQT NQT NQT
I sense no strong conviction from this!

I wipe tears from my eye Imp! We are sworn townies! You must not lie!

Was I unclear?  Order of probability: NQT.  Mater.  Maybe Jim.  You are likely town.  Extremely unlikely that Sal is anti-town unless you are not town.

We were in hammer range all evening D4.  I went to help my family L-1, NQT being L-2.

I guess you're that much more sure I'm anti-town now, that elim isn't good enough?  That scared of people hammering, Mater could and that's a must-no to you?  I presume you're fine with Sal hammering - again.  We've seen his flip before lovers... and more maybe up to including everything... changed.  I think he's town-sided.

Magma - Could be town.  Don't like how he plays here, dishonest and self serving.  Could be anti-town, could be town, I really want to see NQT flip because I hope that solves everything for town.

My conviction hasn't changed.  I have three votes.  I didn't want an early hammer.

At a certain point I'm not playing against people, I'm playing against mechanics, and that's less fun.

Wow notquitethere three revives???????? That's pretty cool.

I'm tempted to ask for a quickhammer but I want to see what he has to say for himself. It might be amusing.

I would like to hear what people say.  It appears not to be hatlo, that's not announced.

Very little happened to me last night.

I still have my tiebreaker hat.  I attempted to mug Mater and failed - and I am concerned about how many hats he may end up with, especially with his take all hats from someone or inspect them ability.  I caused myself to gain a vote.

Quickhammer was discussed from the first post of the day.  I'm patient and wanted to hear from everyone.  Glad of it, several interesting things happened.

I didn't want to day suicide yesterday because I was worried about NQT and it was possible Sal would save us by tying the vote, which they did at the very last second. If Sal also intends to vote you Imp today it's better for town if I kill myself because if you're town then at least we can still use the rest of the day to vote another suspect as opposed to having us get eliminated and the rest of the players going straight to the night which favors scum more.

So, ask Sal?

I'm town.  NQT is the reasonable alternative to Mater/Jim.  I do think there's at least 1 town in there if not 2.  I prefer the fewer deaths.  I've been really fond of Mater.  I don't want to remove him unless I'm really sure because I don't want to.  Life absolutely sucks right now out of game.  That's not going to change for quite a while, and I have family I now live with who walk into my living area absolutely any time they please and hit me with bleep like 'You're breaking my heart because you [do or won't do] [whatever]'.  I'm also trying to get over my dyslexia-like issues or whatever they are with comp sci stuff, and me and First Order Logic are having a few tangles.

https://learning.edx.org/course/course-v1:StanfordOnline+SOHS-YPHILX0002+2T2020/home

I absolutely cannot stand lies that are 'unnecessary' and especially none that I do not consent to.

"DAVE: In this course, we'll study the language of first-order logic which is designed to make precise statements about any topic."  part of the first lecture.  'any topic'?   It can't express any form of unknown, or 'you might be wrong' or anything.  Once a fact is stated, can't even challenge it without proof, in which case it's not challenge, just present the proof and it's changed - no doubt or question.  And no way to correct or change without proof.

That's not 'any topic'.  It's anti-fact check.  It's so manipulative and destructive, but if I want stuff past this level where better stuff probably is I actually need to handle this instead of avoid it.

This stuff's like poison to my mind.  Plus all the rest of the mess of everything.

I'm sorry for your game stress, for the hurt Krr1ss says I caused him, for the friction between myself and NQT that apparently he's totally cool with from last game already.

I don't even see why you have the whatever about suicide of all things this game.  Sucks to see any of that.

I'm an emotional detective Imp. I generally don't care about a game of mafia until I become personally invested. The longer I'm alive the more personally invested I become in a game. I'm not trying to make light of suicide, it's just that mechanically I do in fact have a self daykill.

I use logical facts and my own intuition to solve games. Every sign is telling me that you're mafia Imp. Most evidence is pointing to you being mafia. I don't want this to be true, but I can't deny reality.

I 100% agree, if you're town then it's most likely NQT! However, I have not be convinced by your case on him. I'm sorry Imp but it probably is in town's best interest if we remove ourselves from the game via my daykill. You have to concede that this is the correct course of action for town as a whole, correct? It's not about us being alive so much as giving the best chances of town winning. I really don't want to do this to myself or you Imp. I have personal stake in this game, I don't want to purposefully remove myself from it and not be around if it continues, but it may be the best course of action.

I studied predicate and propositional logic when I did my undergrad, and the way I thought about it was like learning a puzzle language. Like learning how to do sudokus or sokoban. You just have to translate sentences into symbols and then play with the symbols to win the game. You're absolutely right that first order logic can't capture the proper meaning of every sentence or argument— after all, people developed modal logic, fuzzy logic, intuitionistic logic etc. to go beyond the limitations of formal logic.

Hey.  It's all your choice.  I am town.  If literally the only concern you have is 'oh but we both must die anyway so I will kill us both since we can't live until tomorrow and that's gonna hurt town even worse.'  I don't get that.  I'm sorry you seem to waffle on who you think is anti-town.  I don't like the mech around NQT and some of the choices Mater's made, and I'm sorry Jim is his partner, I hope it doesn't come to that.

But fine.  I do think you're very likely town.  You can remove me and presumably yourself at any point during the day, you claim.

If I ever realize you likely are, I can and will hammer us both.

But consider the current votecount to effectively be:

Quote
Magma Mater (0):
notquitethere (3): Imp, Imp, Imp,
Imp (3):  notquitethere, notquitethere, Jim Groovester,
Salvatore Monday (0):
Jim Groovester (0):
ToonyMan (0):

No Execution (0):

6 votes to hammer.

Not Voting (4): Magma Mater, Salvatore Monday, ToonyMan, Imp

If you want us dead, we die.  I dunno if you're bluffing anti-town or town that literally cannot read me.  I am affected by my life events and my actual role vastly more than my alignment.  If you need to flip me to understand I am town, then you do so.

If I think or realize you're anti-town, I lead the hammer on you.

Imp reaches into her pockets and pulls out yet another marker.

How one person can even hold so many markers, you don't know.

Imp has gained an additional vote.
