Kind of confused about the rationale behind the dopp kill but not going to complain that the dopps are helping me solve the game.

I'm a Sneak. I was roommates with Magma Mater during N1 (he didn't know). Magma Mater didn't leave his house, so he is not a doppelganger.

My D1 game suspects have all been solved, so now I have to work through Imp, ToonyMan, notquitethere, Salvatore Monday, and AnimePigeon.

If it isn't Magma, the strongest likelihood is AnimePigeon.

This would also, arguably, explain a completely nonsensical kill target from our perspective.

I went to quite a lot of effort d1 to give scum every opportunity to be off-wagon and not feel like the only chance was to bus. Of course we do have players who would bus that hard d1 for no particular reason — fully aware that I'm certainly one of them for the rest of you — but hopefully night results will clear that up.

ChatGPT is the GOAT

@Sal:
I don't have anything worth sharing

I also thought Magma or AnimePigeon but Jim has cleared Magma which makes this easier, sorry Magma

It's never Magma
It's very unlikely to be Jim or Imp
It's probably not NQT or Sal
It's probably AnimePigeon

I have nothing to report!

I went for NJW2000 from D1 one recent game too.

Rather unfair to call me afraid to go for vets (he's more vet than me, dunno by how much)

I dunno you seem pretty scared to me. One might even say... chicken??

And if someone would kindly let go of my tail, I'ma chicken fight!

Which probably has nothing to do with mech.

And much to do with irl well this sucks.

ToonyMan's voters have thrown their votes on ToonyMan and just kind of sat there. Magma Mater is still engaged with the game at least, but CM and Agent T have been comparatively quiet.
The thing is that I have very little to add to the conversation. I think that AP is probably town and is being genuine in suspecting Sal.
This was like 10 hrs ago, I would hope to see more from Agent.
Honestly, the smart move might just be to rush vote Agent before the EOD.
Agentt
I'm agreeing to vote Agentt because they're one of the players I suspect. I honestly don't think that Magma is scum but I also don't want a tie and an Agentt compromise might be for the best.

I don't think that Agentt is mafia. I would rather lynch Salvatore Monday, honestly, but ToonyMan is still my preferred lynch.
Agreed.

I'm not switching to Agent.

Time for me to drift off, my eyes are gone!

Drift back when you're ready, bucko.

While 'sleeper agent' is a neat meme for the maf team, I'm not currently convinced you're a stoolin' pigeon.

When convenient, please chatter and preen, and do your you-ness stuff.

I reread the game. AnimePigeon pops out as the player with the most off D1 after the Agentt flip. I still don't like Magma Mater's D1 but he is absolutely not a dopp.

I have a hard time thinking it might be within ToonyMan, Imp, Salvatore Monday, or notquitethere, but gun to my head, I have to reevaluate everything I think I know about this game, I think I pick Salvatore Monday? We're getting really down into who is the most callous busser of poor Agentt at that point.

Good morning people.

I woke up and hah..

There isn't much thought behind voting Sal...I was and am still lost on how to proceed, and it just felt right. I mainly want to trust pigeon and see where this goes?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Yeah.

My list of sus:

AP (Weirdly or not, I don't sus AP much.  He's not clear but... I'm mildly surprised if he ends up being the other dop.  I get all signs point to him)
Sal
NQT
Toons
(is there any way Magma could fool a sneak?  Tech like Advanced Holoform modulator?)  ... Magma.

I do not sus Jim.  I wish I sus Jim and I just don't.

I am unsure I want to believe that Magma is clear, and I believe Jim.

Is there no mech way that Jim could be honestly reporting yet Magma still could have killed?

It's certainly possible, just as you mentioned with the Advanced Holoform Modulator.

In theory if Magma Mater had the Advanced Holoform Modulator he could appear to stay at home to me while I drank his beer and ate his snacks, but that's alien tech not available to human or dopp players. So in that instance too he's not a dopp. He'd be at least as dangerous as a dopp if that's what was going on, but I don't know how far down the rabbit hole you want to take yourself.

It's also conceivable we might be in a setup where there's an alien helping the dopps or they got to take alien tech, but I do think we should consider it a lower-level possibility.

I can't remember a game with an alien helping dopps, regardless that only leaves 6 humans which doesn't feel correct.

@Imp:
It's possible Jim is lying to have an alibi, but that's really Disneyland logic. It does make it almost impossible for Magma to be a dopp though. I think it's really unlikely you or Jim could be partners with Agentt after looking over D1 (for example you Imp decided on voting Agentt after NQT made it a 4-way tie near end of day), which matches how I felt about you two during D1 anyway.

I don't know the setup as well as many of us.

My read of Jim is, Jim's fine.

I do have some sus of Magma.  Magma CAN be fine too.  I don't quite get what alignments can get what tech.  You guys know better than me, you've played more and with more attention, at least some of you, this setup.

Me, I have some irl troubles chewing into my ability to really deeply and calmly follow highly complex info.

If Magma is clear, cool.  I just still don't feel trust of him.
