Hello everyone, this is my first post on here, and I am just wondering about a few things about how to get started.
The first thing I would like to know is how to add a tileset to the game that works for the latest free version. I am not tech savvy, and know little to nothing about how the game works with storing files or adding things. I've tried to look at some tutorials but they are all outdated, and confusing. Another thing is about the difference between adventure mode and fortress mode. Which one is better for new players? This game seems awesome, so any help would be very appreciated.

Tilesets are a bit hit and miss with the newest versions due to major changes with how the game renders it's display. Some sets of specific dimensions work well in most places, but not all. I can be of minimal help here as I still play the previous version, but hopefully someone else might be informative.

As for fort vs adventurer - which is best depends on what you want to do. Each game mode covers radically different domains of experience and are equally complex in different ways, though adventurer is easier to pick up and play in comparison to fort mode...

What tileset do you use? I just find the vanilla art really hard to read. My
