why can you not touch a native american's hair?

So my friends touch my hair without permission and I am native and I follow my culture a lot and I was raised that hair is considered sacred and a physical extension of one's spirit, carrying knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual connection. Touching someone's hair without permission is seen as disrespectful and potentially harmful, as it can disrupt their connection to the spirit world. Some tribes also believe that hair holds personal energy, and allowing others to touch it without permission could contaminate it.
but idk if its wrong because some of my friends don't care about my native culture

Your friends don't care about your personal space, is the problem here. Assertiveness is the solution.
Assert your dominance over your erstwhile friends by pulling them by their hair until they become hirsutely aware of the sinfulness of their ways.
