And so the Conquest of Tamriel begins anew.
WELCOME TO CONQUEST OF TAMRIEL!
The continent of Tamriel is fragmented and without a single leader.
It is time for someone to step up and conquer all 28 Lands of Tamriel, and forge a new Empire!
A game of vicious conquest, temporary alliances, and inevitable betrayals, for the maximum of 9 Players.
NEW PLAYER SHEET:
Username:
Starting Land: 2 Players cannot start in the same Province.
Player Color: Something that can be easily visible.
NON-PLAYER LANDS:
At start of the Game, one random unclaimed Land in each Province receives 1 Army Token.
Heartlands, being the most important part of Tamriel, receives 2 Army Tokens, always (unless chosen as a starting location of a Player).
These Army Tokens exist only to make conquests difficult.
PROVINCES AND LANDS OF TAMRIEL:
The continent of Tamriel is divided into 9 Provinces, with a total of 28 Lands. Each Province holds 3 Lands, excepting Cyrodiil, which holds 4 Lands.
Borders of Provinces are black, while borders of Lands are maroon, to help differentiate starting locations.
Black Marsh: Argonia, Gideon, Lilmoth
Cyrodiil: Colovia, Heartlands, Jerall, Nibenay Basin
Elsweyr: Anequina, Pallatine, Senchal
Hammerfell: Alik'r, Dragontail, Rihad
High Rock: Daggerfall, Farrun, Wayrest
Morrowind: Mournhold, Redoran, Vvardenfell
Skyrim: Solitude, Whiterun, Winterhold
Summerset Isles: Alinor, Auridon, Cloudrest
Valenwood: Arenthia, Elden Root, Silvenar
TURNS:
Turns are sequential, going down the playerlist. The GM resolves Combat Rolls, if any are needed.
After the last Player makes their moves/combat, the first Player moves again.
ARMIES, SUPPLY AND SUPPORT:
Each Land provides you with 1 Supply Limit. At Start of your Turn, you can place Army Tokens in your Lands, until you reach the maximum of your Supply Limit: If you have 5 Lands, your Supply Limit is 5.
If you have more Tokens than your Supply, you cannot Move your Tokens UNTIL you Remove the Excess Tokens of your Choice.
Each Land can Support a maximum of 3 Army Tokens stationed in it. If a Land has already 3 Tokens on it, you cannot Place or Move Tokens onto that Land.
MOVEMENT AND COMBAT:
Each Army Token can move to 1 Adjacent Province per Turn (Tokens placed on the same Turn cannot be Moved). Adjacency means wide, black/maroon Borders over land, or red Sea routes. Nibenay Basin, although bisected, counts as a singular Land.
Movement respects the Supply rule; you cannot Move or Attack with more than 3 Army Tokens total per Targeted Land. For example, if you have 3 Tokens in Mournhold and 3 in Redoran, you can only Move a maximum of 3 from these 6 Army Tokens when attacking Argonia.
Combat occurs if at least 1 Army Token of Player A moves onto Land occupied by at least 1 Army Token of Player B.
Moving Army Tokens across Sea routes bestows -1 to Combat rolls. This applies no matter the amount of Army Tokens involved.
Difference between number of Army Tokens at Start of Combat grants bonus of +1 per 1 Army Token of Difference. For example, Attacking with 3 Tokens versus 1 Army Token of Enemy grants +2 to Combat Rolls of ALL your Tokens involved.
If Attacker rolls higher than Defender, 1 Army Token of the Defender is destroyed.
If Attack rolls equal or lower than Defender, 1 Army Token of the Attacker is destroyed.
