Heya! It's nice to meet everyone, and nice to see some of my newer buddies. ^^ You may call me Gail, if you'd like. It's my real middle name, as I have no logical self preservation instincts. Please feel plenty comfortable speaking to me. For your own sanity, however, do your best to refrain from imagining my fingers in edible substances. For now.
I haven't backread everything as of yet, or this post would be even more of a wall.
Elephant: I didn't get to play many games previously, and they were a bit wonky. It's hard to compare. The vibes feel open and pleasant so far, and more personally comfortable. Whether it's due to my own comfortability or due to a subtle difference in play 'culture' or 'style', my reads have been more dependable. (Knocking on wood so I don't jinx it...)
Crystal: Thankfully, the last game was a good introduction to the site itself, such as navigation and settings. The game itself should be easier to focus on. I've also learned little things, such as organizing my own thoughts in a sort of personal record (notepad as of now). Rather than allowing myself to be swayed in the moment and abandoning prior reasoning, I'm keeping record of my reads and choices at various stages to keep a more object view. Sal's digging wallpost previously almost tricked me. That situation also taught me that even as town, maybe I should intentionally utilize subtle trickery to catch someone showing their hand when their guard goes down. That night, I really was going to bed- but if I hadn't come back to check (unintentionally lying about leaving the thread), I wouldn't have flipped back to Sal. We would've lost a townie instead of lynching mafia.
I have nothing to hide from fellow town, so I will outright admit that I submitted: Light, Curse, Reflect. I don't know jack about materia (I'm more like a fallout and elder scrolls girl than final fantasy, the term is just kinda new, ya know?), so in case my ideas sucked, I also submitted: Ink, Dice, Mask. Someone else sumitted something too similar to reflect (glass I guess? ayo, vermillion~), so our darling host used Ink to replace that one. No, I did not submit how I intended any of those to specifically work, as I figured it was best to let NQT do whatever seemed most appropriate (without my influence).
In an attempt to stick to hard fact, I want to quickly note that we have 3 confirmed players on the naughty list. That means at most 8 total town. 3 out of 11 is 27.27...%, meaning just over 1/4 confirmed antitown. Out of any given groups of 4, odds are at least 1 will be a baddie. I'm playing with the idea of a 3rd party group, neutral, alternate antitown, whatever it might be called... but guess there would only be 1 and at most 2. If I sound like an idiot right now... buckle up. That part will stay that way.
ANYWAY, nice to see you Magma and Imp, muah, and hopefully my next post will have, idk, useful content.
