"I heard you. What's the bad news?" Kil asks, slightly annoyed.

[Dsarker]

"If I may say so, sir, would you mind checking if there isn't a stallion in the room with her?"

Bob's my uncle if you guys have got this all planned beforehand. I'm going to assume that Bubbles, as the chief medical pony, knows about this is advance.

*Bubbles stopped concentrating on his needle. It was tipped with a rare and deadly forgotten beast poison, and had been given to him by the caravan folk. His door had been opened and he had been told that Carrot, had indeed died for the last time.*
"What...? Tell me it wasn't me...TELL ME!" Bubbles shouts to himself, mad with grief. He promptly bucked down the hospital doors, and galloped to Carrot's bedroom.

[Khenal]

'Guess she knew about the other times he died.'

"Uh...he's not going to get better this time?"

[Impending Doom]

"E-Excuse me? That... that is bad news, miss Kil. What are you talking about?"

[The Master]

"No, you gave me the good news. What's the bad news?"

*Bubbles arrives to find Khenal and Starkey 'consoling' Kil, and shouts*
"TELL ME IT WASN'T MY FAULT! WAS IT AN INFECTION!??!?!?!?!?"

[Dsarker]

"See, this is why daemons have it better off. No mates. No bother with all this trouble."

[Impending Doom]

Starkey continues, his anger rising.

"Wha... Your husband, the father of your foals is dead! How is that good news?"

[The Master]

"When are you going to tell me the bad news? I'm seeing my coltfriend soon, so can we hurry this up?"

[Khenal]

'...Carrot, your message to her is about the kindest thing I'm inclined to tell her, now.'

"No, Doctor, it wasn't an infection.  Excuse me, please.  I need to go...do something."

'Before I try to buck Kil's teeth out.'

"No, actually, I could use your help, Bubbles.  I think I have a few broken ribs."

*Bubbles feels Khenal's ribs, then ushers him to the hospital.*
