Quote from: I'm doing something odd. One can probably figure it out given some thought.
Mortals are drawn to Zephyrus, sensing his ancient wisdom. Temples rise in his honor, and poets sing of his celestial descent.
Zephyrus wields a subtle influence over fate. His blessings and curses are whispered on the wind, shaping destinies.
When he intervenes, storms rage, tides shift, and stars align. His power is both awe-inspiring and terrifying.

A Boat Made, Named, and imbued with Agency.
Would it be Emotion, Will, and Knowledge?

It's a god game, it can mean however the GM interprets it. That and set pieces aren't that interesting.
If it's generic, it's because it is a generic rule. The Will of the People is a real thing invested in a country's leader. Therefore, the Leader can be considered to have Agency under your own rule of other rules affecting things. An ocean meanwhile will be more broad. If it's angry, anyone trying to sail will definitely feel it. And probably have a lot of deaths happen at sea. A Forest will not appreciate being clearcut, and actively fight back by pushing animals to attack, as it has Agency by it's Name, and animals don't as being part of it.

And yes, this Rule is an opposite to your own. Of course you wouldn't like it.

Fun thing, taking a City by seige will mean said City won't appreciate being occupied. Being built by it's inhabitants, if treated well and kept clean, it's harder to take, and if taken is likely to cause inconveniences. In day to day life, keeping it clean and repaired means things stay clean with less wear and tear. The spirit of a place, or as noted, a Will. (This will likely cause interesting culture shifts where invaders try and strike down names of places and smother them. Books are banned and burned by invaders, history is written to twist, and national identity is used as a bludgeon by the important.)

Name: Aerith
Sphere: Will
Description: A Will formed of orange wings which fractures around its edges into a finite, yet uncomprehend-able design.

Major act rule: The Rule of Will.
All Capital-named possess their own Will, irrespective of a Mind. They seek to survive and help others who respect them. Those who defile and degrade them will find the Will against them. Wills can be born of a Ocean, a Sea, a Weather System, a Forest, a City. Anything with a Capital Name that exists has it's own Will, even that of a Leader.

Major act creation: The Five Oceans. Altari, Bossa, Capridom, Deltas, and Eclipso. The chill Altari rests in the east covered in icebergs. The energetic Bossa sits north, currents flowing swiftly. To the west sits Capridom, a warm ocean filled with basic life. Deltas sits towards the south, forming stormclouds and weather patterns from it's waters. And to the opposite side of them all sits Eclipso, with an island in it's center forming a whirlpool around it. In the center of the first four is another landmass untouched by the waters. Though this does not preclude continents forming within the oceans, these six regions serve as the base of this world, with the sixth intentionally unnamed and lacking Will.

Mafia / Roll to Die: A Mafia x RTD (?/?)
« on: April 09, 2024, 07:05:05 pm »
Behold the latest zany game from Triceracorpinc.Play with your friends, pick powers. Roll a die, and maybe die in the process. Surely not a bad idea right? Play right now~ A board appears in front of you with a number of speakers. You are one of those voices trapped in this game.

The rules are simply. Majority Hammer, but at any time during the day a player can message the pabbr=Me]GM Board to roll a 1d6, along with either Cop, Doctor, or Vigilante, along with a target. If you roll a 1, you die~. If you roll 3/4/5, the ability goes off. If you roll a 6, the ability goes off, and you also die~. What's stopping this from being abused? Well, who does an action is public knowledge, though not the target, and each ability can only be used once every in game day. And mafia have their own abilities to choose from in addition to that, Redirect, Frame, or Block. At the start of the next day, the shots refill.

The only Night Action is the Mafiakill. How willing are you to roll the dice? Will you gather info from others and use logic, or fall into the temptation for the Rngesus Board. Only you can decide in this exciting game of Roll to Die!

You Have 1 Vote
A game where everyone has 1 Vote. No other discussion, just Vote. (Bit late for April Fools, but eh.)

Quote from: Discord
Orichalcum bars linked to each other when sufficiently charged on both sides creates a push against magnetic fields, causing it to seemingly levitate on nothing, forming a north and south pole. While it can't handle much weight, it is sufficient to be used for manned aircraft.
Will leave this for later, since it might be useful. The idea is to use these to lift the plane, with some form of drive for thrust. (Yeah you could use normal aerodynamics, but the image sparked the idea.)

My arguments against boats for guns is that a good basic sidearm is TR12. For whatever reason pistols never miss.
That said, bote.

Not really a reason, you could have just made a Riverland tile.

Being honest, being gods of something is flavoring, rather than mechancial.

Basic terrain is usually 1 FP no matter the game. Given there is a ton of pace on the map. Gods get 1 FP every update.
Fish, animals, and such usually come part and parcel though.

Cetric Whalelock Pistol Mk. 12 "Lightbay"
What could be called the culmination of whalelock development started when it was discovered orichalcum had strange properties when split.

Quote from: Quote from: Cetromagnetic Properties of Whale-Derived Materials, 2nd Edition, by Abundant Papers

"Just as splitting a magnet in half between its north and south poles only results in two new bipolar magnets, a similar phenomenon occurs in orichalcum. A body of cast orichalcum, split into multiple pieces after solidification, retains a material "memory" of its former wholeness. The reasons for this are still under wide debate [...]"

"Furthermore, arranging multiple such pieces of so-called "entangled" orichalcum in space and briefly energizing them in a connected circuit encodes that spatial position into the orichalcum's internal electric field. Applying a current to any one of the newly "pinned" pieces of orichalcum will cause the whole array of pieces to return to their original configuration as though a rigid connection existed between them."

"The strength of the connection between these pieces is dependent on the magnitude of the provided current. A weaker current results in a less rigid connection, such that even small outside forces might dislodge the pinned orichalcum from its position and cause a structural failure. Intuitively, this means the effect only lasts so long as one or more entangled piece is powered. Because this effect relies on the field being able to induce a charge among all linked components, a linkage cannot be maintained at an indefinite distance, and maintaining a greater separation without failure requires more power."

Using this Whalelock development exploded. Using orichalcum rails under this effect create a gun that was not only long lasting, but capable of far more force to the bullet when lit. Combined with the use of Refined Ichor bullets in the gun's holster,(refered to as RI Ammo) the pin would complete a circuit

The Mark 12 Pistol is comprised of two linked rails. The stock would have ammo be placed in which would be pushed into the charge chamber. The pin is pulled, and the ammo is launched out, including the refined amber. This charge allows the magnetic field to be powered even after leaving the gun, pushing through the air resistance. And the charge relocks the rails, each acting to prevent the other from being moved out of position. A sidearm with great penetrative power, though once the ammo's charge is expended it's effectiveness falls off quickly.
