But is it possible to have the Shambler caste to have a bite which turns others into Shamblers or not?

Not to step over your questions asin but does teeth size and material have any effect on damage? I don't notice any significant increase in limb bite-offyness, but I'd like to know if I'm headed in the right direction.

EDIT: Saw the Underground creature tag in the wiki. Is it possible to create a non-evil civ that only spawns in the underworld and is part of the initial wave escaping the HFS, but is peaceful and at war with the demons?

Yeah, if the syndrome has a transformation effect.

Not really no. underground civs only exist as the little bands of tribals you see in the caverns occasionally. They're usually listed as hostile in the unit list but sometimes dont attack dwarves anyway. I'm not sure if they can spawn in the fifth cavern (with the HFS) or not, but you cant make them join in the first wave, although if they're in hell they might get spotted and into a fight. They'll probably get killed beforehand by wandering demons while in hell.

On the syndromes page there's explanations on how things work. CE_BODY_TRANSFORMATION is the one you want. For an example of what it looks like you can check out the werebeast stuff in your raw/interaction examples folder.

As in, the person becomes a Shambler permanently?

Okay.

What does the FACIAL_FEATURES tag thing do?

I decided against the multiple caste beast, and decided on just the Shambler creature.

I plan for the Shambler to have a blank face (no hair, ears, eyes, nose, nothing) except for a mouth with clicking mandibles.

I know a tag to give it.

The EXTRAVISION tag.

You need [GRASP] on wrestling limbs.

Creatures can also wrestle with their non-grasping limbs (upper/lower arm/leg) when laying down or if the limb isn't used as a leg (has a STANCE part on the end of it)

Several questions, how would I go about making a theropod dinosaur, or a pterodactyl, is it possible to make sail/spikes on a specific area and how would I go about giving a creature a slime coating?
