Michael stops and cringes. Oh Christ, why did he do that? He wondered briefly why he was so embarassed at the builder anyway. He really wasn't worth the trouble, but he didn't want to be a bastard.

"I'm sorry. That was uncalled for."

Now he really wondered why he said that.

"What's Kest for thank you? And stop calling her a devil, that's rude."

A beggar reaches out to the group, speaking in Kestvoshorik. Her eyes are both entirely white.

The mute troll girl stares at her. Then she kicks Bob in the leg.

"Well what am i supposed to call her? I don't know her name. Anyw-OW!"

Michael, almost on an impulse, reached into his pocket and rooted around for change. He looked at the troll then at the builder.

"Both of you, don't start anything. Let's just remain civil."

Give the beggar some change if that wasn't confiscated.

S/he looks at the beggar girl.

They confiscated most everything, but it appears they missed whatever is equivalent to a penny in British curency. You toss it at the beggar and she picks it up.
