so when I download it it says its corrupted it only takes a few minutes to download for me so no idea why :(

Check the file size of the download compared to the size of what's stated on the download page. Many times on release dates, the DFFD servers are sort of getting hit hard and something terminates the download prematurely.

Best thing to do is delete or rename the failed file and try the download again.
