Alright, first topic of the day here is the ship, and how much it costs. We'll need atleast 12,200 gp to get the ship fully stocked and seaborne, another 720gp for hiring the crew (Well, paying their wages anyway.). If Immortal also joins, we'd also need about enough beds for his followers as well, which would take up 3 tons of cargo space, and cost 600gp. A launch with a davit will also cost us another 2000gp, but let's us go ashore anywhere there isn't a dock without making the ship run aground. In total it'll need 18,520 gp

If we can get another 10,000gp, we can make the ship masterwork, giving all the sections another 40 hp if my calculations are correct, along with an extra 5ft boost to base speed.

Another 5000gp, we can add-on a masterwork controls, boosting the bonus to sailor checks when steering or otherwise controlling the ships movement by +2

After that, any leftover money could be put towards getting any sorts of goodies for the ship like luxury cabins and whatnot. Though if we do manage to hit the 68,000 gp mark, we could get a greatship instead. THAT would certainly leave an impression on those dastardly do-gooders >:D

I'm on my phone and really lazy so I'll just quote myself from earlier:
My HP rolls, three Rogue levels and three Warblade.

Here is my character sheet, still very much a work in progress.

Remuthra, how much would would a pet crow cost? Somebody of us need to sport a bird.
Also, as a Tiefling, is it okay if I get a bit excessive with her appearance, as long as I do not expect any mechanical bonuses from it? Like, for example, having clawlike fingers (but not enough to damage anyone). Though I was contemplating just having elongated nails instead (that start up by the middle knuckle). Arguably that would be more disturbing.

...It may have become apparent by now that I'm planning a bit of a bird theme for this here pirate.

Quartermaster signing on. They way my finances are looking, I can cover the entire ship cost. Also, my followers are mostly crew we'd have to pay for anyway, so just cut out a few go from the crew cost.

As I said, I'm hiring fourth-level NPCs for the crew. This means they have a rather decent chance in combat compared to a first-level expert. And the costs were including them onboard too.

With that amount of money, we can MORE than cover the ship's cost O.O

Heck, you ALONE could pay for the entire ship. Also, you may want some clothes too :P
