"Haha, you're just a volunteer."

The skypetalk ends.

"Look over that and make sure it's all right, okay? Looks like you're free to assist in the repair of the test drones, once that's done."

Reina offers her hand.

"So... Let's see..."
She examines the form once more, and then takes the hand.
"Alright, looks like this is fine. I'm ready to help fix some of them. Lead the way, I guess!"

Off the form goes, and Reina shakes her hand.

"Happy to be working with you."

She leads Elizabeth-chan into the wall. There's the main gate into the testing area, of course, and off to the side is a hangar....

Full of the wreckage of a LOT of test drones.

"We're so understaffed that we haven't even had a mechanic to repair these.  I can't say much about them other than that they are woefully inadequate for handling some of the... high-powered recruits we've been having."

Elizabeth can probably figure out more. They run on TSAB-brand magitech like everything else the TSAB does. They're supposed to be (when they're not damaged) basketball-sized spherical hovering drones armed with several less-than-lethal magic projectors. How said nonlethal magic does terrain damage is a mystery. Anyways, they have a light shield, as well as fairly decent sensors and rudimentary AI cores.

She whistles a bit, and then roots through her pockets, pulling out an array of tools, some she'd had all this time, others she had acquired in the city.
"Alright then, let's go!"
Grinning, she begins fixing up one of the most intact ones, preforming system checks as she fixes them, via her powers.

Reina watches, bemused. "You should get into Device tech. You certainly seem to enjoy working on these, ma'am. And we could always use better tools out there."

"What can I say, I can already do this stuff with my mind, and machines, so of course I like messing around with them! That, and there's the DJ thing... That's also pretty fun."
Around this point, a good number of them, compared to the original amount, are fixed.

The soldier that Ori controls seems to stiffen up and shake as something in the back of his neck clamps down on where his spine is. He shakes his head and looks confusedly at Ori, his eyes unclouding.
"What? Ah fuck, nonhuma-URK!" His yell is cut off by an arrow going right into his neck, the man clutching and screaming at the gushing wound before slumping over, gurgling out blood as he expires. Through the fire and the barricades Ori and Dany can see a hooded figure. The icon of of a flaming sun has been emblazoned on their shoulder. The figure noctches another arrow and turns to point at Ori, taking aim
"Nonhuman scum..."
This might be the time for running.

"It's easy, if you understand how they work."
She works a bit harder, hearing the compliment.
"So, is there anything special you can do, Reina? I mean, I do this whole... uh... machine possession... thingy..."

"I was wanting to see about asking if I could maybe make some form of a deal so that my friend Lizzie's soul isn't eaten by hell. I find it kind of important and considering I was attacked by a hunter and nearly stabbed in the eye with a lollypop on the way here I think I at least deserve an answer on if that's possible."

Reina shrugs. "Not really. I'm not anything special as far as magic goes. I don't even come from a world with magic or particularly advanced technology. Though I DID manage to defy the 'up or out' rule by becoming one of the first operational testers for the M-37 'Yumi' man-portable railgun, which is how I was Specialist for so long before ending up here. I gotta say, the whole magic thing certainly has its conveniences. The downside, of course, is that the TSAB does mountains of paperwork."

Blink, blink.

"But... Yeah, I'm just an ordinary squad sniper."

The two kick open the door and dive out of the car as another arrow embeds itself where Ori's left eye was. A light beeping is heard from the arrow, that can't be good. In front of Ori is an alleyway, looks safe enough.

"Dynamite arrows are not at all practical!"

Alleyway ho!

More running ho!

Ori is trying not to get into trouble here, damn it! >_<
