Wynne is also tanky and just a flat melee attacker, but she also has 20% more strength growth than Eric. I'd like it but I'm not super attached, she can still potentially cap strength.

I think Eric is best use. He has lowest growth and tied for lowest actually str and the person he's tied with also uses magic. Meanwhile Wynne has the most str and Dale and Quetz are both doing solid at 10 str at first level 6

I don't think Quetz can reach anyone but the knights this turn, so probably hold. Or you could move a bit closer if you want, doesn't hugely matter since the knights have 0 move, but try to stay out of range of the manor guard in the line - I think triggering him would aggro the group behind.
