I was going to suggest Remoraid/Octillery as the dedicated battleship, but I looked it up and saw that you can't get Remoraid until after Surf is necessary to progress.

I still think you should eventually get it, though. Remoraid has the appearance of a revolver, Octillery a cannon. What's more American than a fish that's also a gun?


Also, what is your current party? Looking back, the only screenshot I see of your entire party is before Whitney.

As a specific lover of Dragonair (not dragonite) I should say to keep the dratini ... BUT remoraid and octillery are so much more in character
