Old Planet - AGE OF GODS Old Planet - AGE OF PRISM

A barren planet quietly orbits a sun somewhere in the silent cosmos. This planet wasn't always desolate, infact there are fossils of beasts, and beings from long long ago. Perhaps under the ice something is preserved, perhaps in the catacombs something still stirs. Perhaps not.

This game has 4 Acts, and it is a pvp god game.

Spoiler: Creation (click to show/hide)

Creation:

I. 4 gods take turns spawning life. They will do this until they each have created 2 organisms, which can either be Fauna or Flora.

II. They will then take turns giving the organisms relationships, such as "_ eats _" "_ lives in _" until each god has created 3 relationships.

III. At the end, any Fauna with no beneficial relationships dies off. Including ones that lose their last one because of this. Life with the most harmful relationships will be most populus. Life with the most beneficial relationships(minus harmful ones) will be the best candidates for sentient life in the Society phase. Whom ever created the organism with the most beneficial relationships(minus harmful ones) will get 100 points, second will get 50 points, third 25 points, and last 0 points. Same for the player with the most populus life, and most diversity of surviving organisms. Ties will share a lowered rank, with more per tie lowering it more.

Titans:

I. The gods each choose a quadrant of the planet to create (or reawaken) their titan:titans are mortal, but ageless. They will then have the titan sculpt the local biome geography(ocean, islands, mountainous, ect).

II. The titan can then change or remove (not create) up to 3 local relationships, add a species name to any organism with new relationships. A returning titan may replace any local organism with one from a past session, taking over all the replaced organism's relationships(it must some sense how they could have survived). These living fossils win any ties againts their modern counterparts.

III. The titan may then do this 3 more times, locally or anywhere on the globe. Titans in the same area can fight, home advantage is +2, and which is most experienced(most past sessions) wins a tie. d10 vs d10. The winner can undo the losers' last action in that quadrant. If a titan loses by a 7 point difference away from home it dies.

IV. The titans then rest. Points will be awarded for most home biodiversity, and most (total) benefitted home organism. Gods will get 200 points for each foreign battle won, and 50 if their titan survived.

Society: Choose a species to become sentient, and give them a desire. They will pursue it for a blink in time.

Points will be awarded for the most benefited (total) beings.

Spoiler: Exctinction (click to show/hide)

Exctinction: The player with the current most points describes how mass extinction will happen. The gods may then each appoint a champion, who will spend their life fullfilling a cause. In the end I will judge all life on their ability to survive and give a final score to the gods. The winner's people will be lead into the future through a vortex.

The gods will vote on a name for this "age". The topic, will be closed.

If other people hosted it and followed the same basic creation/extinction formula, I'd probably allow their players to count those sessions as canon.

A tuft of fluff wavers forlornly against the howling winds, caught in the tangle of its withered brethren. Unable to sink its petty roots, yet unable to relinquish its fleeting life just yet...

ACT I
CREATION

...and so it begins. The rest of you may follow Maroon's lead taking turns.

Among the vast white wasteland, is a gathering of navy dots.
It is a herd of animals covered in navy fluff, gathering to keep warm in the cold desert.

A fluffy blue sheep roaming the vast fields of ice.

Meanwhile, where permafrost covers the land but snow has retreated for that time which passes for a summer in this land, long-hardened sterile soils begin to crack, split, and part as new life rises up, developing under an approaching dawn.

Goodberry Bushes develop.
They are, of course, bushes, with sturdy wooden branches holding up the yellow-flecked green leaves. It blooms with orange-and-red flowers that look like the sun, which later develop into nutritious and sizeable yellow fruits.
