I do recommend those who are somewhat interested in Getting Over It type of gameplay to pick it up, as personally I feel it's best from the genre (though I admit entry barrier is extremely long and laborious).

Happy to see Monster Sanctuary in the mix. Monster-raising games are great and a friend of mine designed two of the monsters in this one (I helped name one!).

Awesome!! Yeah, I've been pleasantly surprised. It's a fun pokemon-like/platformer that I bought on a whim. I've been especially impressed by how strongly it mimics the look and feel of some of the old SNES games I liked as a kid, albeit with plenty of modern QoL updates. Definitely a good game and better than I expected.
