Bio: A not-too-recent transplant to the town of Kaname-cho, Asami is the perennial girl-next-door, with a sense of approachability and genuine kindness that has endured despite the march of time, and the fickle nature of her childhood home. A combination of traits that have meshed well enough with her hardworking and independent nature to earn her fast, if unfirm friends wherever her mother’s career took her.
Considered relatively average academically by her teachers, Asami spends the vast majority of her free time on other people. Be it inside of the cooking club where she serves as the supervising teacher’s unofficial assistant, helping to guide her underclassmen and all those less learned in the culinary arts, and out in the classroom and halls where she plies her trade as Lady Hermelin’s #3 busybody.
It is from the latter profession that Asami has made the helper club’s acquaintance. Running afoul of them whenever her own attempts at helping the people around her fall through, and sometimes leaving them to pick up the pieces in her wake. But despite these setbacks, Asami still seems intent on helping out whenever she can, even if they never explicitly
asked her for any. After all, it’s not like she has much else going on in her life, nothing she really wants to think about at least.
Asami’s Parents: Asami is the product of an unlikely union between a recently graduating JASDF pilot celebrating his recent graduation with a night out in town, and the attractive young woman who took him home with her after a few too many rounds. it was meant to be a fling at best; to retoss whenever desired. But when her mother found herself fighting back nausea and exhaustion the week after their latest fling, she took herself to the local clinic to run a few tests, only to find an all too worrying positive. There was a long phone call, followed by a longer night of discussion, but in the end they agreed to take responsibility, and try to sort this mess out the best they can.
But try as they might, things never quite seemed to work out between the two. They were simply two different people bound together only by their expectations, and their child, who as adorable as she was, simply could not bridge the distance between the two. In the end her parents didn’t drift apart so much as they remained where they were. He would show up when needed, and help pay the bills as best as he can, and she would raise their daughter and keep his ring on her finger.
While they are neither legally divorced or separated, it is quite clear to everyone involved that any lingering sparks if any have long died out by now, and that it is only a matter of time before someone moves on enough to try and settle things between them. And with Asami's 18th birthday all too visible on the horizon, it seems that it won't be long until it finally happens.
Ascension Spell: "Clocking The End"
Transformation method: "Micro Driver": A small device made out of uniform white plastic in the shape of a closed bi-fold wallet. The Micro Driver opens up once it is pressed against Asami's waist, revealing a dark green electronic reader on the right side as it unfolds a matte yellow 'belt' to keep itself on her waist. Asami transforms by tapping the SOLE card in her hand against the scanner, before she casually throws it away.
