It crawls haphazardly and without grace, and the chittering and chattering of a myriad of Roachids can suspiciously be heard under the moon-flesh. The god puppet is then clumsily propped up, accompanied by a chorus of groans and legs being stepped on by accident. Where once was a vocal organ there is now a gaping hole, filled with a strange text-to-speech contraption operated by a Roachid stage aide drapped in an all black bodysuit.

The contraption booms and words uttered in a robotic and fractured tone come out of it! A hushed celebration can be heard rising from inside the god-puppet as the flummoxed Roachids witness the bizarre device actually working as intended!

Gongon wails and writhes in agony, as the jury summons inexorably prod and torture him to deliver a verdict, with lashes of judicial duty and hot pokers of being really annoying.

Several times phantom legal teams attempt to escape, only to be crushed into nothing by Gongon's wild unco-ordinated flailing. Eventually, exhausted and apathetic, several sheafs of paper are extracted from a convenient orifice.


Despite Yitterbium's monomaniacal focus upon mantling the Star of Chaos, to the great detriment of their stable prominence within the Emperor of Flesh, not only failing to uphold their duties of ruling over and creating flesh, but also through their earnest efforts to actively deteriorate the conditions best suited for the proliferation of flesh.

It remains that they initiated the first divine anatomical transference, carried out groundbreaking divine anatomy grafting experiments, and were indirectly helpful in the establishment of the Ungulating Masses and the Gestators, and were a founding investor of the Department of Flesh. As such, it is the judgement of ██████ ███ ██████, that Yitterbium should remain the Emperor of Flesh, but pay a fine to the jurors for inflicting this torture on them, if such is feasible. Their name stripped away to be used as payment perhaps.

ANTHEM-314 looks upon Sornlun(?), feeling a little bit triggered.

"The notion of taking a title from a deceased god and bestowing it upon another dead god is rather absurd, but seeing as I'm being paid for this I'll shall give my opinion anyway.

There has already been a discussion regarding flesh, and Gongon has made some good points on that matter. I would also point out that while none of the Stars it created lasted for very long, they were in fact fleshy in nature and it was the actions of Neobel Eka that caused the stars to not be so fleshy.

Also worthy of consideration is the 'Emperor' part of the title. Neobel Eka has created something that can be considered a palace, but beyond that I have not observed any significant actions from them that would be indicative of an autocratic ruler. On Yitterbium's end, they have contributed to the censoring of information by contributing to the Anti-Oracle, and reacted with extreme levels of violence when their authority was challenged.

Between the two options, I am also of the opinion that Yitterbium is the one more befitting of the title 'Emperor of Flesh'."

This is outrageous, I never intentionally killed the sun. I was trying to prevent Yitterblum from killing it but I failed. Neobel did more for flesh than Yitterblum has ever done. Thus, I think that Neobel Eka should have the title.

Verdicts from present jurors are sent up to the Honorable Florid-Head-of-Chalken-Hair Pogate, who reads through and painstakingly counts and double counts them. Satisfied, the judge makes its ruling:

POGATE: The court finds in favor of the estate of Yitterbium with no penalties assessed. All parties are dismissed, and all participating jurors are given their compensation. (Sornlun?: +1 Feeble Act; Gongon: +1 Feeble Act; ANTHEM-314: +1 Feeble Act; Yalini: +1 Feeble Act)

With one trial completed, the court is in recess. Gongon v. Neobel Eka, scheduled for a half-season from now, will concern the matter of organ ownership. The jury will be made up of Luka, Gregory, A-0, and Calamos Gladius, who will each be compensated with 1 Feeble Act for participation. As before, should the jury be unable to come to a decision in time, an injuror will be called in to bring the trial to a speedy conclusion.  Gongon, the plaintiff, may nominate an attorney from its court or departments or make use of the court-appointed representative Hushed-And-Empty-Is-The-Womb Muuch.

ANTHEM-314 makes an offer to purchase the Department of Mobility and Volution, offering one aligned Ages act, one aligned Machine act, and Workspace 2. All angels currently employed by the Department would be permitted to keep their jobs.

ANTHEM-314 considers the counteroffer from VERSE-849. It was clear that an Angel was very different from a mere machine regardless of its origins. While a commission was a far cry from straight up ownership of the department, there was no upper limit on how complicated the commission could be in the deal.

"Very well then. I already had some ideas for a Transportation Nexus based around Starbase ANTHEM-314 and the Canvass of Stars, which I shall permit you to view; and give you a final chance to back out of the deal."

The first component of the Nexus would be a massive portal that links Starbase ANTHEM-314 to the Historia province in the Canvass of Stars. This portal would permit the travel of gods, starships, or whatever else needs to be moved. The portal would not be larger than the Starbase's existing hangar is able to accommodate, so titan class ships may be unable to utilize this. The portal can be opened or closed by ANTHEM-314 at their discretion via uplink in the Starbase to deny access to potential hostile forces.

The second component of the Nexus would be a Jumpgate. This structure can accellerate gods, spaceships etc to FTL speeds, thus permitting them to travel to any location that has line of sight to Starbase ANTHEM-314 without needing their own method of locomotion or the expenditure of a movement action. This only works for moving away from the Starbase and does not make it easier to get to it; but it would be possible to go to the Starbase in a turn and then leave or leave it and then return.

The third component of the Nexus would be a network of portals that all connect to a planetoid near the massive portal exit in the province of Historia. This network would provide at least one portal that connects to every continent on Final Shape, with the potential to be expanded upon further. This would enable Angels to easily move from one place to another, and encourage them to stop by ANTHEM-314's properties via convenience.

One way or another, the negotiations with the Department of Mobility and Volition had come to a conclusion. Though it was a bit of a mystery how they were already serving another ticket number despite having only just now formed and not having yet communicated with another other than ANTHEM-314.

ANTHEM-314 then turned its attention to the Department of Mortal Affairs, figuring that it could find some job for them to do. As it happened, a message was recently transmitted via the Heavenly Signal Tower; the first time that a mortal successfully sent a message that reached ANTHEM-314. An impressive feat for a mortal, and one that almost certainly cost them their sanity.

ANTHEM-314 offered a payment in the amount of one Petty act to the Department of Mortal affairs to bring a message to the family of 'Sja-Mem'. This message would come with an explanation of who ANTHEM-314 is, and about how they created a refuge back in the early Cosmogonic Eon underneath the Mountain Range of y7rulspowTvwA7ZAfDkpPQ== which has remained unclaimed to this very day. This location is protected from the ravages of seasons and highly defensible; yet lacks a biosphere capable of supporting complex life. But with the use of plant magic, metal magic and some ingenuity, it may be possible for a tribe to establish themselves there.

With the final Feeble Act, ANTHEM-314 added some security cameras to Starbase ANTEHM-314. This would discourage the increasing population of Angels from causing trouble, or failing that, identifying the ones that do. These cameras are focused outside of the actual workshop spaces; where Angels do not have the authority to be faffing about.
