Dwarfs have tunnels under ground for fast travel, humans have Roads, elves can have living bridges in the air for fast travel through thick jungle/forest.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_root_bridge.

Also, it would be cool it there was jungle traps like thorns, poison plants/ insets, vines. they are grown traps that spawn naturally making thick jungle/ forest hard to fast travel unless you use the elves' sky highway.

Dynamic vegetation would be cool to interact with. You can get in some real Tarzan action.
