Although I do believe a shield, if even a wooden buckler, would help against one of the people with decent weapon skills.

I assume THE loser simply means the first one to die. Or it was just a typo that changed losers into loser.

What I am curious about is after my inevitable victory, will I have to wait for 15 others to reach rank 2, or will I be able to slaughter all the new rank 1 people again?

Most likely not though, I think I might be too wieghted down to do much. I might think about changing some of that before this all starts but I'm not sure. I probably will.

I lightened my load up a bit and increased my weapon skill. I won't be nearly as fast as you but if I can block for long enough with my shield, I should be able to get 1 or 2 decent shots on you. Although if you hit me once, I am essentially dead. I just hope I don't go up against you first.

I'd love to see a fight of you against one of those heavily armoured guys. Polar opposites and will result in a slaughter depending on pretty much luck only.
