Whoa, I didn't know this happened...
« on: September 17, 2009, 07:47:34 pm »

I embarked with so much stuff that my dwarves brought TWO wagons, and both wagons had a breeding pair of animals(I remember a discussion about the animals your wagons come with, but that was at least 3-4 months ago), has anything like this been documented before, or am I slow to the punch?

I've never seen it before either.
That's pretty awesome.

You could get a lot of wagons by just putting a lot of individual objects instead of putting them all in one group.

I think it has something to do with weight. I used an embark editor to get 10000s of stones and I have like 100 wagons :P

Rocks are cheap. You could do that without the editor.

Lots of wood, lots of cattle. Cartloads of raw stone.
That would be a good way to start a humie fort.

I do the old trick of embarking with one of each meat for all the barrels. :)
But yeah, must have been all the extra stuff I decided to take this time.
All that pearlash and no sand.
But I do have a warped golem made of sand... I'm curious what will happen if I kill him, I'm going to find out sooner or later.

Try using a memory editor to embark with several thousand steel anvils, ten thousand of each type of alcohol, and forty thousand turtles.

The thread that was 2-3 months ago was started by me... when I began playing. It was my second thread ever.
