Actually, I now have no idea as to who Darvi is talking about, so I'll just say that I'm still disappointed in the newbies around here and will probably be flinging myself into the next BYOR.

I was talking to webaddict, and I have a specific idea as to what he'll do for BM XXX.

But hey, it sometimes happens that it seems like I'm talking to the air. It's a good listener :D

No, I know.  I was talking about our earlier discussion.

Ah, that. Eh, forget it, it's getting dealt with anyway. I just think it's a shame for an entire day to be wasted on somebody who doesn't even consider playing properly.

You're always welcome, Vector. Plus, it'll probably start before WWYDT. :P

Also, what's wrong with the newbies?

I promise it'll be fine.

I've been looking at a couple of games and it seems like we have some weird relationship of newbies to old-timers... anyway, I feel like fewer people are coming out of BMs with an idea of how to really scumhunt.  We're transmitting the form, but not the function, and without reasoning all "scum-hunting" just looks like a charade.

Well I am incredibly, uhm, passive in questioning, SaintDraze hasn't defended himself really good in the BM and Super... lets not talk about that.

Edit: yeah, that too.

Hmmm. Sounds like our ICs need to do a better job teaching people.

How about we keep discussion of ongoing games in their respective threads? I LIKE THAT IDEA

I think we should change the format in BM to allow the 2 ICs to play. I think the only reason it was changed in the first place was because I won. But, I thought that all of the people playing with me learned a thing or two about Mafia.

Plus, I stopped being so angry. A little.

I think this is a good place. It's about Beginner's Mafia, which doesn't seem to bring in enough new players with an idea of how to play. Vector knows a fair amount about what she talks about, so I tend to listen to her.

Who else thinks BMs need playing ICs?

You're a newbie. Would you feel like you could play with someone that is experienced, who is also trying to teach you how to play?
