You play them like you would normally?

i meant setup - byohf - how does byo stuff work? we send in a historical figure and get a role PM from it?

Pretty much.  It's just like a BYOR, except you send in a historical figure instead of anything.  The mod then creates a role based on your submission.


We have five running games, one in signups (not counting KotM which is running and signups at the same time), and a BM waiting to start.  I'd like to put up another game while Roguelike 1 finishes and refine it for a second run.  Would people prefer:

Smalltown (All player's roles are known publically)
A 13p game with generally standard roles that has a theme
A 13p game with a twist

I'm down for any of them, with a slight bias toward the last one.  I'd wait a little bit to put it in signups, so running games could wind down a bit more.  Let me hear your opinions!

I'm still busy, and a significant portion of my waking hours is now being occupied by napping, as paradoxical as that is.

It's going well, and it'll be the most flavour heavy game I'll have run - though considering I've only run one before this (and a relatively flavour light one at that), I guess that's not too hard.

But it'll be a lot of flavour. In quantities comparable to that of Vector's game and NSBM, hopefully.

That, and the fact that I was severely disappointed in my own performance in Vanilla Mountainous. I was procrastinating, and the flavour was chickenscratch made up at the last minute.

I'm still making it last-minute, and still procrastinating to an extent, but hopefully this time around it won't be chickenscratch, or whatever you want to call it.

i think Portals would make a terrific bastard mod since GlaDos changes the rules all the time.
