I would suggest a standard one for the new players to ink teeth into, if they express interest anyway. Much as I'd like to play another BYOR game.

The idea of Mostly Vanilla Mafia as a series is three things.
1: Every player, town or mafia (or third party), gets a power role.
2: While the setup is not known, certain constraints are held solid so nobody's caught too off balance.
3: Most roles exist within a vanilla playing field, with just a bit of creative wriggle room.
I think it's fairly ideal for newer players, as compared to a BYOR, which tends to get far out of the reasonable range.

So, I see I'm towards the bottom of the signup list.  That is good.  Just making sure it's really towards the bottom, so I don't have to figure it out yet.

They are fun pieces of insanity. I suppose I can see why though, too much keysanity is bad for you.
