As a semi-newb (I've played the game and can occasionally expand to about 25 dwarves before losing control), this looks like a really handy pack. I keep telling myself I'll get a foothold on DF but I never usually do. Thanks for making this pack, I'm going to download it shortly!

I'm confused. I DLd the older version of this pack, which is supposed to have DF v. .12. When I run the game, though, for some reason it says .13. How can that be? I don't want .13, it has no gobs.

Does .14 have goblins and invasions?I'm at the point now when I'm starting to want a bit of a challenge.

I have the 0.31.14 version, and i have never had a goblin invasion on any of my games.

Ok. How do I get the newest version  of DF, along with whatever else from the pack that works w/ the newest version, on my own w/o having to wait for a new version of the pack. No enemies kinda sucks.

Obvs I know how to DL the newest DF, what I mean is, which of the pack's components are up to date, and how do I get them working.

Probably the best thing to do is check the "Contents" spoiler in the 1st post, it contains links to the threads for all the other stuff, which in turn will have the latests versions, .16 compatible or not.

Of course, doing that is completely.. not lazy.

Yeah. But waiting until who-knows-when for the pack to be updated isn't fun.

I guess I should just delete everything and start from scratch, no?

As far as I know Ironhand and Phoebus graphics are up, as is Dwarf Therapist and DFHack.
Really you could stick with 31.12. But I'll try to put another version up in a day or two, it'll be a little bare-bones.

That's just it. I would stick with .12, but somehow I have .13, even though I DL'd the LNP that's supposed to have .12. How does that happen?

Weird. I haven't checked all versions/mirrors but I checked the mediafire v4.6 and it has DF .12 properly.

So far Runesmith, Foreman and Stonesence  have not yet been updated for .16.  Perfect World only got updated on Monday.

I am sure LucasUP is waiting to see if there is any sign of an update for the remaining 3 before releasing a new pack.

So hey guys. I guess I should get the new pack out so that Toady releases .17 right after eh? He must be waiting on me.

Edit: although I'm really feeling that I should wait like... another day before I make another fool of myself?

10/13/2010: Diversified the dwarf mode troubles a bit, he he he. I should be back to postable stuff after today.
