link or something would be helpful, since "maserwork" reveals only your post when searching through this forum. :P

You can get around this by installling DF 34.10, then the Lazy Newb Pack. Delete the DFHack files and reinstall it, it's been updated. Do not use any of the graphics packs or change the keybindings, though; took me forever to get everything working with Ironholds...

I personally don't like it because theres some stuff that can't be disabled, hence its not possible to play vanilla DF. (it dose a load of stuff with wood/trees that can't be disabled, its all listed on the wiki)

That's a pretty cool thing there.

Also, I was working on a modloader. Anyone know how to do good regex in visual basic? :P

Masterwork, has font that is all uppercase, even where it shouldn't be uppercase.  Makes reading and doing the menus choices for the first time, impossible for us hard of seeing players.  It is a nice mod for the players who are not noobs and have the menu options commited to memory.  The font is sexy, just not burdenproof.  Knutor

I seem to remember being able to change the font through the Masterwork loader.
Also, I kinda like the new font:)

My main problem with Masterwork is the sheer amount of 'crap' added. Golem forge, armored pets, warpstone, metal clothing, stone beds and bins, etc.
Most of it is quite nice, like the Timberyard and the firearms, but I don't like landmines and gem furniture. Luckily, you can disable stuff you don't want.

I don't mind all that because it can be disabled, I'm bothered by the mandatory stuff (ie. Irridium and changes to wood)

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I've found it amazing for editing, merging, splitting, and just generally... managing.. my mods:  Dwarf Fortress Mod Manager.  Caveat is that you need to temporarily delete the "texts" folder in the "objects" folder of the raws each time you install mods from this program, since it's not technically up to date.  I just keep a copy of the "texts" folder somewhere to copy back in place after each time I install mods.

Yeah, that's basically what I was planning to add to the LNP, but built-in and possibly in C++. I just need the time and the disk space :(

Well I wish you the best of luck!  Lazy Newb pack has been instrumental in getting me into DF and remains quite integral for me; I have Steam link to the LNP launcher instead of DF whenever I want to play.

On the subject of including mods / having modular stuff, Modest Mod has a lot of no-brainer bugfixes etc. that could be worth incorporating, on the off-chance you haven't heard of it yet.

Thaks for all the hard work; it's definitely appreciated!  :D

Yep, would be neat to have that patchable and such.
I'll try to work on it.

I second this. I've been using that mod for a while.
