Okay, I've sent my application to KoE. I hope Andoran takes me in. Yesterday I was trialed for the Holy Roman Empire but they said I wasn't active enough (I'm currently unemployed, so go figure).

I also think after a few server boots today the game runs smoother now.

Someone who was rather well-hated way in the past.  But anyway.  ...people still play this?  O.O

Just got dragged in... luckilly my peeps had an agrarian commune all set up... It'd be a long long time before I saw any food but apples if they didn't.  Buildt up my skills, and now I'm maintaining a refurbished outpost with a cave... gonna head in for some exploring today.  Hopefully there's a mine in there, or at least some cave clay.

Pump per and exp and use the cave for finding bulbs. Mines are nigh impossible to find these days, but bulbs have increased in value so you can get a metal bar for 2-3.

The fact that the announcements subforum hasn't had a new thread in months pertaining to any development (and any development is "secret" needing to be discovered by players, apparently) should clue you into the fact that L/J are totally incompetent when it comes to developing and managing an mmo.

tl;dr
- Never.

Every reset thus far has been preceded by a lengthy period without updates. They need to work on new skill system, terrain generator, travel system and other stuff that takes a lot of time to develop, and mini updates would get in the way of that.

I've got a regular PM correspondance with Loftar, and DJ is definitely right here. I promised not to go squeaking out what Loftar told me, but it does look pretty good and it will be followed by a reset since the changes will be affecting things from ground up.

And then some asshole will find an XP exploit and ruin everything.
Again.

For the second time. ::)

The devs themselves don't know when it will be. You know how programming works, things that seem simple often end up taking more time that those that seemed problematic.

And Machenoid, that's a wonderful attitude you got there.
