You jump into the portal.
Choo:
You know what I hate? When people try to do things with "whatever I can find" when they're in a vehicle with nothing in it. Just irks me.

Japa:
This vehicle has no windows. You run through Kisame's portal instead.
Toly:
The dwarf seems to have things well in hand, so you work on detaching the computer hosting the AI (who is now known as George) from the van's systems.

Everyone ducks into Kisame's portal (except Kisame and Action Lamp, who stand in it) and waits for the transition to the Nether to complete.
The machine arrives and snatches up the Ultravan, grinding it to pieces with its massive steel jaws, but by that time everyone's already gone.
You stand in a small, dark cave. No one can see more than a meter or two away from the glowing portal except Kisame (who has multispectral vision or maybe just really, really good night vision) and Toly who has a flashlight in his suit.
The walls and floors are made of blood-red rock and OH GOD THE SCREECHING SHUT THE FUCK UP
