My Fairy after completing all the starting quests (puppy dungeon, the slime infested basement, the pirate hideout) has now investigated as suggested the ruins nearby, and found a dying scout that asked me to give a letter to the King Xabi of Palmia

So far no problem, i went with my army of little sisters there
Then when i entered the King hall , i noticed there was the queen sitting on the throne, and next to her ... lots of items.

Meaning that the king died randomly (statue and card from him are within those items) as sometime i noticed even important characters do (i remember in a previous game the guy that is supposed to resurrect my companions just exploded before i could ask him).

So .. huh , should i just reload my last save, or is there some trick to complete that scout quest ?

Nah, man. Just wait, NPCs respawn after a while.

I haven't noticed any serious bugs in the new version besides the Casino bug personally. I also haven't noticed any serious significant improvements from the stable version. So they're about as good as the other.

There's like no difference between them if you get the bugfix. Some small stupid things.

the king gets assassinated later and you can't get his card or figure anymore after that

He respawned after i went in a trip to buy another member of my little girl army (they're really good at dealing damage) and came back.

From his items, i got this one that seems interesting (though i had to buy a greater identify scroll as neither identify scroll or people you pay for identify could do it) :

A tip: whenever you get an item that mere identify scrolls or wizards in town can't completely identify, either find a scroll of greater identify (like you did) or ask them to investigate the item fully (or something like that). It's more expensive but is pretty much the same as a greater identify.
Also you put that charm on right now. No downsides, as far as I can see.

Increase carrying capacity with the Weight Lifting skill or increase your strength and constitution.

It's better than "I want to give my uncle/son/father/whatever [worthless fake gold bar]/[shit]/[vomit]".

Which is better than the "My father is sick" quests where the "father" is actually female.

Also the "I want to give my son [rod of fire bolt]". Nobody's going to go absolutely nuts with is and blast everything. Nope, no one.

Stone is for items, kilogram is for characters. Also minimum weights are different, yeah. I don't think a tiny fairy would weigh as much as a hugeass golem.
