MsPaint Scenes: I draw your descriptions!
« on: November 10, 2013, 01:37:46 pm »

Alright, so I've actually had this idea a few weeks back, to practice my skills. Coincidentally there already was a similar thread going on with the same premise back then so I held it off.
I haven't seen the thread for a few days now so...

Just like the title says: I draw scenes! On MsPaint!
(I can draw dwarves, FBs and whatnot as well. Might even use SAI once in a while on the rare times I'm not lazy)

Suggest away!

Well, I was using the Nchardahrk (Elder Scrolls mod with Dwemer instead of Dwarves) and the fort was visited by Sload (slugmen, sort of) merchants.  Fine and good.  But they'd brought a Sload Necromancer along--Not good, but it was Fun.  Said Sload started animating the refuse stockpile.

Nyxalinth likes the color blue, gaming, writing, art, cats for their aloofness,  Transformers for their sentience and ability to transform, and the Constructicons for their hard work and building skills. Whenever possible, she prefers to consume bacon cheeseburgers and pinot noir. She absolutely detests stupid people.

The other day, I had to fill a room with magma so that I could get my magma forges up and running. I took my two legendary miners off of mining duty and put a dwarf with no friends or family on it so that he would breach the magma. He did it and ran for his life. He survived that ordeal and so I made him his own personal tomb in the shape of a pickaxe.

A dragon attacked my fortress recently and burned everything it found. All my military were cooked and my normal dwarves were roasted as they ran. Then it turned one of my corners and met a cat whose owner had just been melted. The cat killed the dragon with its first attack (the dragon had already taken hits from my military but that's not as cool). I like to think that this was revenge for the death of its owner.

I have a strange problem. Four Peach-faced Love-bird men have taken it upon themselves to rid the world of the Giant Sponge in my river. The Catch is, since they are flying and the Sponge isn't, the sponge can't attack back. They have been biting, kicking, punching, and generally attacking the sponge for four years now. The Dwarves can't reach them, and the Markdwarves don't want to attack a target they can't path to, so it will go on basically forever. I'm actually beginning to feel bad for the creature. It keeps passing out, becoming enraged, etc. All futilely.

A dwarven child deconstructed the floor the outpost liaison was standing on, causing him to plummet into the abyss, while the duchess/mayor stood by and pretended not to notice.
